We pick up at Camp Ellis Pier in Saco, ME .
Directions to Camp Ellis Pier:
From Maine Turnpike Exit 36 (Saco/OOB): Follow Connector I-195 to end and continue straight into 2 way traffic. Keep 7-Eleven on your left and continue straight about 2 miles to stop sign at Ocean Park Village. Take a right onto Route 9 and continue about 2 miles to stop sign at entrance to Camp Ellis. Go straight or left into the village. Weave through the streets to the pier at the mouth of the Saco River. (It's not as tricky as you think. You can't get lost.) There's paid parking at the pier.
From Bayley's Campground: Take a right out of the campground. Follow Route 9 through the center of Old Orchard Beach and Ocean Park Village and continue on to the stop sign at entrance to Camp Ellis (about 7 miles). Go straight or left into the village. Weave through the streets to the pier at the mouth of the Saco River. (It's not as tricky as you think. You can't get lost.) There's paid parking at the pier.
From Saco or Biddeford: At the First Parish Church on the corner of Main and Beach Sts. (Rt.1) in Saco, go east onto Beach Street (Route 9) Follow it about 4 miles to the stop sign at the entrance to Camp Ellis. Go straight or right into the village. Weave through the streets to the pier at the mouth of the Saco River. (It's not as tricky as you think. You can't get lost.) There's paid parking at the pier.
Be sure to bring warm clothing.
(It can be chilly on the water even if it's in the 90's onshore).
Bring your camera and have a cooler ready to bring home your catch!
